Home / Hearing Loop Installations and Servicing
Hearing loss affects 1 in 6 people within the UK and affects 8 million people aged 60 or over, resulting in many people using hearing aids to increase the volume of nearby sounds. Hearing loop systems otherwise known as induction loops or a T-Loop, assists those with hearing loss to hear spoken word with minimal distraction and reduces background noise. The hearing loop helps users to hear through a wireless magnetic field that can be picked up when a user's compatiable hearing aid is adjusted to the 'T-setting'.

How We Can Help

At Livewire Systems, we understand how important a properly functioning induction loop system is to the people that require it. From our many past experiences dealing with these systems and the people that use them we have often found that if for whatever reason the system stops working or has a fault, the people using it will often not raise a complaint or mention that its not working properly. This is ultimately the very last thing we want from one of our systems as it can often lead to the people using the induction loop being left feeling excluded. With this in mind we reccomend a maintanence service every 6-12 months to ensure the system is working to its full potential keeping those who need it in the loop.
We can install both fixed and portable hearing loops that are designed to suit the needs of your customer and establishment. Hearing loops can be fitted for 1:1 basis, or to help a larger group areas such as service counters, council buildings, supermarkets, banks, hospitals, churches, classrooms. Our main priority is to make sure that every system that we install is high quality and works flawlessly whilst being understood by those that need to operate it.

Servicing and Maintaining Your System

If your establishment already has an induction loop system, it is important to have them serviced and maintained every 6-12 months to ensure that it is functioning properly for members of the public that require this provision. Given that people who do not use the induction loop don't tend to realise when it is faulty it is always important to have the system serviced ensuring it is delivering for the people who need it.

At Livewire Systems, we offer all of our new and existing clients yearly proactive maintenance of their induction loop to ensure that their system offers value for money and continues to work correctly and efficiently for many years. If you feel you need a new induction loop or just in need of some maintenance, give us a call today on 01254 377 007.
