Sound Masking
Quick Read
Overview
Within work environments, background noise can be relatively low, often leading to colleagues and visitors hearing conversations that may be confidential or subject to data protection regulations. Sound Masking systems make conversations and other noises less audible and as a result, workplace acoustics will be improved, noise distractions will be reduced and speech privacy will be protected. By emitting soft background noises these discrete non-obtrusive systems allow for a less distracting workplace allowing employees to be more productive, less distracted and uphold confidentiality.
Sound Masking Installation
"Sound masking is an ambient sound, similar to the sound of airflow, that’s specifically engineered to the frequency of human speech. You can target conversational distractions and make them less distracting. Sound masking does not cancel sound or eliminate all speech noise in an environment; it simply reduces how far away conversations can be heard and understood by others, which we call the radius of distraction."

Manufacturer Approved Installations
We are manufacturer approved to design and install the latest sound masking solutions in a variety of settings. As a result, we have completed several prestigious projects for high profile clients across the UK. Our team have installed these revolutionary systems in various locations and types of building- as these systems can function beyond the standard offices, and our work can be seen in youth advisory centres, conference and meeting rooms, and helped to take privacy to a higher standard in these settings.
Sound Masking Servicing and Maintenance
If there is one lesson we learn every day, it is that a little maintenance can go a long way. We attend many faults and failures on systems which could have been avoided if they had been properly and regularly serviced and maintained. Many of these faults will have at one stage been small and easily resolved, yet over time they quickly escalate to full-blown system failures which can then be costly and inconvenient to repair. Sound masking systems are very sensitive to their surroundings, if the system starts crackling or you can hear conversations from further away, this may be owing to a change in the layout of the furniture or the number of occupants significantly changes. In these instances, the system will need to be recommissioned and recalibrated to ensure that privacy is still upheld. Our team can periodically maintain and service your system to make sure that your investment is maximised, keeping it in full working order whilst ensuring that it benefits your organisation at every opportunity.
Our team has many years of experience in designing and installing sound masking systems, and as a result, we can help find small or large faults, repair and service your existing systems that may have fallen into disrepair or show signs of failing and check that they are working properly. We can also ensure that your systems are fit for their intended purpose, and most importantly that they are serviced correctly. We offer all new and existing clients access to our Maintenance and Annual Check-up services for full peace of mind and to ensure that they are working correctly and maintaining your privacy and work acoustics.
